About the Company - Baker Charles are currently working with an exciting VC Backed Consumer business to help them hire a Finance Director to support the growth of the company following recent investment.

About the Role - The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships. They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team as well as investors to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management.

Responsibilities

• Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to CEO
• Support the financial planning and analysis efforts
• Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions
• Manage relationships with banks

Qualifications

• Strong academic background
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA)

Required Skills

• Experience within a VC/PE backed company
• Experience of fundraising and exit
• Must have worked in an SME business (under £100m turnover) as CFO/Finance Director (as no 1 in finance)
• Must have worked in a multisite retail or FMCG environment

Pay range and compensation package - Excellent salary and package plus equity
