Financial Controller

Our client is a highly successful international Investment Fund based in London who are seeking a Financial Controller reporting to the CFO. The fund are a major player in the infrastructure and energy space and are rapidly growing their presence in the UK and Europe.

As the Financial Controller you will be a key part of the leadership team and will be required to ensure financial stability, strategic planning and operational success. You will be responsible for ensuring the financial well being of the company.

Responsibilities will include:

• Production of monthly reports with explanation of actual variances
• Preparation of reports for regulatory requirements
• Budgeting, forecasting and monitoring of revenue, margin and cash
• Regular meetings with operational teams to discuss financial forecasts and performance, providing support for new clients contracts
• Involvement in projects such as improving processes and efficiency
• Advise on ways of improving business performance

Requirements for the role are:

• Fully qualified accountant
• A self starter and dynamic individual with the ability to drive clear direction and minimal supervision
• Experience of managing a team, conducting appraisals and improving team performance
• Extensive experience in financial reporting systems and procedures (minimum 5 years controlling experience in a complex environment)
• Strong systems experience with Microsoft Business Central ideally
• Ability to communicate and interact in a matrix/multi-country environment
