Private Equity-Backed | Multi-Site Business | CFO Role - Kent

We are partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed multi-site business to appoint a commercially focused Chief Financial Officer. The business is based in Kent and will require 3 days a week in the office

This is a pivotal role, working closely with the CEO and PE investors to drive financial performance, support value creation initiatives, and help scale the business through its next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as strategic finance partner to the CEO and senior leadership team

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management

• Own board and investor reporting to PE standards

• Drive performance across a multi-site operational footprint

• Strengthen financial controls, governance, and reporting processes

• Lead systems and data improvement to support scale

• Support M&A activity, integration, and exit readiness

The Person

• Qualified accountant (ACA qualified - essential)

• CFO or senior finance leader experience in a private equity-backed environment

• Proven track record in multi-site or operationally complex businesses (retail, hospitality. healthcare etc)

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence at board level

• Hands-on, resilient, and comfortable in fast-paced, high-expectation environments
