Group Financial Controller – Multisite Hospitality
A large multisite hospitality organisation operating in the UK sports and recreation sector, is recruiting a Group Financial Controller based in Central London. You will report to the CFO and own the group’s internal and external reporting, drive best practice, lead the shared service centre team of 20 and deliver analysis and insight for the CEO, CFO and other senior colleagues.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to operate in a complex multisite environment and possess strong technical, analytical and communication skills. You will develop a productive relationship with senior stakeholders and deliver information to them effectively, to support good decision making.
You will lead all aspects of Group reporting including the month end, statutory accounts, and cash / net debt reporting. This will involve presentation to the board. You will manage, develop, and empower a large finance team based at the Shared Service Centre (Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Treasury). Naturally, driving process improvement and also taking ownership of all financial systems. You will deliver the audit and act as the key point of contact for the auditors, HMRC, and other third-party advisors.
Crucially, you will also support the CFO in all structured and corporate finance matters, optimizing financial assets and utilisation. Additionally, you will act as Head of Finance for a non-core business taking responsibility for all pricing, contract, client, and reporting issues.
The successful candidate will be a qualified ACA (or equivalent) with up-to-date technical skills and a strong analytical capability. You will demonstrate the ability to proactively manage a large team, improve processes and partner senior stakeholders (including the CEO).

Salary: £85,000 + car + bonus (30%) + benefits
