UK Controller

We’re partnering with a fast-growing fintech business, FCA-authorised as an Electronic Money Institution, that is transforming how companies manage international payments and multi-currency transactions. As they continue to scale, they’re looking for a UK Financial Controller to play a key role in shaping the finance function and supporting growth in a regulated environment.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll own the month-end close process, strengthen financial controls and governance, and partner with commercial teams to provide clear, actionable financial insight. You’ll work closely with auditors, drive process improvements, and help ensure compliance with UK GAAP and FCA requirements as the business expands.

The ideal candidate will be ACA qualified (ACCA considered), with solid post-qualified experience and strong commercial instincts. A background in payments, fintech, or another FCA-regulated environment would be highly desirable, along with experience building robust controls within a scaling business.

The company offers a flexible remote/hybrid setup and a collaborative, ambitious culture where finance has real influence. The role is paying £90,000 - £100,000 basic salary.
