A highly acquisitive, private equity-backed multi-site business in Central London is seeking a qualified accountant to join its growing team. This role offers significant ongoing potential, with a clear path to progress into a Finance Manager position, where you'll lead a team and take on broader responsibilities.
In this pivotal role within a fast-paced, rapidly expanding company, you'll be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations and month-end processes. You’ll play a critical part in delivering accurate and high-quality financial reporting to both the business and the Head Office, working closely with key stakeholders to provide insight and analysis that will influence decision-making.
Your key responsibilities will include managing various aspects of the month-end management accounts process, leading short-term cash forecasting, and overseeing balance sheet reviews. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in preparing for year-end audits, managing expense management software, and guiding the financial integration of new acquisitions. As the business continues to grow, you’ll be actively involved in integrating newly acquired sites, driving performance improvements, and contributing to the company’s financial objectives. You will also collaborate closely with site managers to address finance-related matters.
The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified ACA accountant with strong technical knowledge. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you'll be working with various departments across the business.
