Our client is a highly successful Hospitality business with robust funding, secure financial position and exciting future strategy both acquisitively and organically. They are hiring for an exciting commercially led Head of Finance opportunity reporting to the CFO. This role is a senior hire which be integral to continue their expansion and acquisition plans.
The Head of Finance will ultimately be in charge of running the Finance Function. This will be a broad role but one which is commercially led. You will be reporting directly into the CFO and supported by a sizeable team including an experienced Financial Controller. They are seeking someone who is commercially minded and strategically able to business partner non-finance to drive performance and profitability. You will to be engaged with developing the finance function to cover all aspects of finance as the group continues to grow. The role will range from: ensuring the control / governance framework; to developing and coaching the team; to developing commercial insight and driving our strategy; to business cases / M&A. This will be a brilliant and varied role to give the business stronger decision support and drive the strategy for the future.
As the successful Head of Finance candidate you will be a qualified accountant, who will be from a consumer background. Ideally the successful candidate will come from a Hospitality or Leisure sector but Retail, FMCG, Ecommerce or Consumer sector experience will be considered. The Head of Finance must be able to demonstrate strong finance skills and be able to commercially partner effectively with non-finance colleagues. Candidates need to be adept and comfortable working in a commercial, fast paced environment. What is important in this person is they will have credibility, initiative and drive; someone with an upward career trajectory and strong track record of success will be considered just as much as a proven operator or leader at this level.
The role is based in Central London (Zone1), paying a strong basic salary, bonus, benefits and LTIP package. This role is based in Central London but nearly all staff are working from home currently and WFH is fully operational.
