Fund Finance Analyst

Our client is a highly successful international Investment Fund based in London who are seeking a Fund Finance Analyst to join the team. The fund are a major player in the infrastructure and energy space and are rapidly growing their presence in the UK and Europe.

The Fund Finance Analyst role will involve the following - understanding the workings of an Energy Infrastructure management business from a fund finance perspective, working at both asset and fund levels for improved business intelligence and portfolio management. The role will give you the opportunity to be involved in deep data analysis, which will feed into key business areas including finance, investor reporting, future fund raising, asset management, and the execution of potential new investments.

• Running quarterly return analysis with corresponding management reporting.
• Coordinating between the Investment Team, Asset Management team, Operations, and Finance on transactions; acquisitions, onboarding, and dispositions.
• Participating in asset-by-asset analysis of occupancy, roll-over, returns, and leverage ratios.
• Working with the Investment Teams on IFRS and Lender valuations and appraisal statistics.
• Preparing client materials and responding to marketing and investor queries.
• Tracking and reporting on quarterly activity.
• Creating/maintaining ongoing transaction activity records/charts (acquisition, disposal, financing, etc).
• Assist in the preparation of investor relations materials which summarise the position of the funds for Investors and respond to investor queries
• Assist with financial modelling including monthly net asset reviews and insertion of actual income/expenditure per the accounts

Requirements for the Fund Finance Analyst

• 3+years proven practical experience in Energy Infrastructure gained either with an audit firm, an Energy Infrastructure fund, or an operating partner.
• You are detailed-oriented, and analytical, and have a clear understanding of the commercial reality of the life of an Energy Infrastructure fund.
• You have excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders, across a variety of geographies and cultures.
