A well-known restaurant brand is looking to recruit a Senior Finance Business Partner. This is a high-profile role where you will partner with the business to drive sales, margin, and overall commercial performance. You will provide both the commercial and operations teams with practical, high-quality insights that enable effective decision-making and contribute to the successful delivery of the business strategy.
In this role, you can expect to be heavily involved in key areas such as pricing, decision support, marketing and promotion strategies, product innovation, retail operations support, and addressing various commercial issues. You will also manage a direct report who will assist you with analysis and financial modelling.
As part of the commercial team, you will challenge existing thinking and push for best practices across the business. You will provide well-thought-out, proactive, and insightful commercial analysis, partnering closely with the marketing team to offer meaningful financial advice. Additionally, you will work with C-suite colleagues, delivering excellent modelling and analysis to support strategic decisions.
The role also includes ownership of the budget and quarterly forecasts for the commercial team, including trading forecasts, cost of sales, risks and opportunities, and recommendations to drive sales and profit margin. You will also be responsible for the monthly analysis of results versus forecasts, ensuring that key stakeholders are kept informed.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong commercial acumen and financial modelling skills. You will need excellent influencing abilities, experience managing challenging stakeholders, and a deep understanding of the hospitality or retail sectors.
