Group Reporting Analyst
Baker Charles are working with a FTSE 100 listed company recruiting a Group Reporting Analyst in a permanent role on their Group Reporting team.
This is a broad accounting role supporting the financial control and reporting processes, involved in ad hoc projects to improve processes and work on technical issues. You will work closely with other areas of the business and senior colleagues.
Key responsibilities for this role include supporting with the delivery of the Groups reporting activities associated with external reporting and internal reporting (year end / half year). Identifying and solving potential accounting issues especially around IFRS 9, 15 & 16. Streamlining and automating financial processes to improve efficiency and the integrity of reporting. Providing technical accounting advice on the impact of commercial decisions made by the business. Developing strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, senior colleagues and various third parties e.g. auditors.
To be successful in your application for this role you will be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA / CA) who qualified in an accounting practice and has experience of external audit. You will be very comfortable assessing technical issues and possess the ability to build strong working relationships, motivate teams and manage multiple stakeholders. You will possess very strong, professional written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail and demonstrate the ability to solve problems whilst working to tight deadlines under pressure.
